Carbon Capture

With technology licensed from Embrapa, Agrorobótica delivers a complete soil diagnosis in seconds, enabling the monetization of carbon in agriculture.

Born from a partnership with Embrapa, the AGLIBS® platform uses laser-induced plasma—the same principle as the technology aboard the Mars rover—to perform a complete soil diagnosis with over 20 health indicators in just 22 seconds. This replaces a 20-day chemical process, allowing farmers to precisely manage their largest production cost—fertilizers—and access the global carbon economy.

  • Embrapa Technology, Laser Power. The licensed technology creates a 10,000°C plasma flash to instantly reveal the soil's elemental signature, delivering an unprecedented level of detail for agriculture.
  • Fertility and Carbon, Together. The analysis farmers already need for soil fertility simultaneously generates the data required to monetize carbon. A win-win for productivity and for a new revenue stream.
  • Intelligence that Generates Value. With the data, Agrorobótica generates recommendations to increase productivity, reduce costs, and lower emissions. The implementation of these practices, such as pasture recovery, generates the carbon credits.

The Union of Science and the Field

Agrorobótica's strength comes from the union of two fronts—the on-the-ground vision of agronomist Fábio Angelis and the deep scientific expertise of physicist Aida Magalhães. Their professional collaboration transformed cutting-edge Embrapa science into a practical tool that improves the farmer's decision-making, driving productivity and sustainability side by side.

Biotechnology

Buzz Fly has revolutionized the circular economy by transforming a major industrial challenge—organic waste management—into a valuable new revenue stream.

While competitors buy expensive inputs to create insect protein, Buzz Fly inverted the model. The company partners with large food producers, receiving payment to solve their organic waste problem. This waste then becomes the raw material for a hyper-efficient bioconversion process, powered by the Black Soldier Fly, which produces high-value protein for animal and plant nutrition.

  • A Cost Turned Into Profit. A paradigm shift in the industry. Buzz Fly gets paid to source the same raw material that its competitors have to buy, creating a uniquely sustainable and profitable business model.
  • Biology at High Speed. The larvae reach maturity in just 7 days, a stark contrast to the 60-day cycle of traditional composting, and result in a product with far superior nutritional value.
  • Perfect Cycle, Zero Waste. The process is a masterpiece of efficiency. The primary output is a versatile, high-quality protein flour, and even the residue ("frass") is commercialized as a potent organic fertilizer. Nothing is wasted.

The Intelligence Behind the Insect

The genius of Buzz Fly lies not only in its biotechnology but in the intelligence of its business model. Guided by the vision of its founders, the company re-imagined the entire value chain, proving that the most powerful form of sustainability is one that is also inherently profitable. They don't just create products; they create value cycles.
